"From 01.07.2007, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ), the premier bank in Rajasthan has increased their FCNR and NRE interest rates for fresh deposits and renewals. The new rates for one to five years maturities are 4.68%, 4.68%, 4.71%, 4.75% & 4.79% for US Dollars, 5.57%, 5.55%, 5.56%, 5.52% & 5.47% for GB Pound and 3.78%, 3.96%, 4.00%, 4.01% & 4.03% for EURO respectively.
The interest rates on NRE term deposits are 5.43% for one year but less than 3 years and 5.46% 3 years to 5 years maturities. These rates are revised to give the customers the best rates within the permissible limits of Reserve Bank of India.” |
